Director Marketing Western Union Montvale

Job Description:
Right now, we are seeking a Director, Marketing located at our office in Montvale, New Jersey.
In Addition, You Will
· Work side by side and in collaboration with key geographic/account experts within the Sales and Account Management Organization (SAM) in the Central Region, Integrated Marketing and Retail Marketing teams to identify and execute account specific strategies.
· Provide marketing insight, geographic expertise and execute in market on all surround sound geography plays (pre, during, post) such as alternative media opportunities, placed-based media; provide recommendations and line of site back into centralized marketing teams

· Drive co-op strategy and plans for all in store, retail branch or online traffic driving opportunities, point of transaction opportunities, promotions, incentives; leverage local differences while driving balance and consistency where geographic/account synergies exist

· Responsible for managing and executing in geographic market Strategic , National and key Regional Account grassroots logistics/efforts - assist in identification of new opportunities, staffing of events/associations, delivery of agent coop integration/participation, and monitoring and continuous feedback loop in store; execute off strategy direction and requirements for key segment marketing leads

· Identify and lead development of master marketing plans, calendar strategies & programs for geographic regions (inclusive of coop dollars and agent matched funds) - reviewed and assessed quarterly

· Development of new agent ramp up, same store sales acceleration and agent risk prevention programs

· Collaborate across all product, sales and marketing functions and contribute to building best in class account marketing programs to maximize results

· Expert ability to analyze data; ability to understand an analysis and its implications; ability to determine various methods to analyze data; ability to translate into viable initiatives

· Ability to work with external organizations for purposes of partnering or forming strategic alliances.

· Ability to drive community outreach and local partnerships successfully. Partner with community organizations and agents to drive sales through market

· Ability to develop and execute 360 marketing plans at a local & customized level - understand agent and consumer opportunities at a class of trade level

· Ability to drive strong support synergies across our agents, sales, product and marketing teams.

· Strong skills to sell in and secure new marketing opportunities within our key classes of trade in a balanced, cost effective manner; ability to measure ROI and drive results through marketing programs

· Ability to develop and execute marketing strategy and tactics within the retail environment.

· Experience across multiple classes of trade in multiple industries to drive increased visibility and sales through in store retail.

Qualifications

· University degree (MBA preferred)

· Experience in marketing within financial services companies with significant experience in marketing strategy, plan development

· National Account marketing experience is highly desirable

· Online marketing (e.g. banner ads, online promotions) experience is a plus

· Retail marketing (e.g. Merchandising strategy, POS marketing communications) experience is highly desirable

· 8-15 years’ experience (field marketing experience, agency/service oriented, detailed local marketing experience (grassroots, local placed based media, etc)

· Strong, proven leadership skills, managing direct and indirect cross functional teams; ability to motivate and drive results across a large indirect sphere of influence

· P&L leadership experience desired
