The Market Director is responsible for the execution of a set of projects in a single market ensuring cost, quality, and schedule targets are hit.
Responsibilities Include
Accountable for cost, time, and quality KPIs for the execution of assigned projects in the market
Conduct monthly performance dialogues with vendors to ensure vendors are hitting KPI targets
Drive coaching, performance management for front-line
Drive consistent ways of working
Lead continuous improvement / change initiative
Create an initial 6 month production chart for sites to be completed over the next 6 months
Based on 6 month production chart, develop a front line resource plan for corresponding 6 months
Refresh production chart and resource plan on a regular basis based on feedback received during the S&OP process
Handle customer issues with front line staff, escalating to RVP/CPM when unable to resolve
Identify opportunities that enhance and optimize local adjustments with existing vendors based on local conditions and approved change management process including appropriate task orders. Communicate opportunities to Sourcing to execute negotiations
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
