Director IT Project Office Under Armour Baltimore

Job Description:
The Director of the Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for building an organization within Under Armour that bring consistent, standardized, and repetitive project management practices to the business, including controller/financial functions (monitoring/reporting data), contracts/subcontracts, consistent processes and procedures, and project/program management and administrative activities. The PMO Director will apply proven project/program management principles and methodologies to all projects/programs across all accounts. The PMO Director will develop Project/Program Management Plans (PMPs) mapping applicable process groups and knowledge areas as applicable - and clearly communicate UA's PMO construct to our clients to facilitate frequent and direct engagements.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Serve as driving force and champion executing organizational integration and standardized roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities for all UA projects and programs
Facilitate organizational resource and infrastructure planning to ensure corporate support capability and capacity necessary for on-time, on-cost, high quality execution of all THOR contracts and subcontracts.
Ensure investments and initiatives in project, program, and account management align with business strategy and priorities.
Actively and deliberately manage risk exposure through identification risks and to manage critical business relationships.
Develop project/program tracking requirements across budgets and deliverables to ensure consistent and accurate management of cost, schedule, quality, and resource utilization.
Establish Project Management (PM) practices across in IT.
Lead Project management process improvement and PMO governance.
In conjunction with other organizational PMO’s, standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects and act as the source of documentation, guidance, and metrics supporting project management.
Provide oversight of Project Management Plan / Program Management Plan development (project control related - not technical).
Provide contract related change management oversight.
Provide oversight and establish consistent program and project governance (processes) in execution.
Monitor and control project financial reporting.
Provide and maintain historical data and record keeping, supporting project performance.
Provide subcontractor financial performance oversight.
As growth milestones are achieved, the PMO Director will determine if/when additional PMO resources/personnel are required.

Minimum Requirements


Must have prior experience leading/managing a PMO for a company that experienced rapid growth during applicant's tenure.
Must have experience preparing and delivering briefings and recommendations to senior executive on a regular basis, with a record of success - i.e. recommendations have been adopted/implemented and achieved the desired outcome(s).
Must have experience managing complex customer requirements across all aspects of cost, schedule, and quality.
10 + years Project/Program Management experience
Must have experience as a Program Manager.
Must have experience in supporting companywide strategic planning, implementation, and execution - with a consistent proven record of sustained achievement.
Must have experience in identifying and mitigating potential risks at the company-wide level.
Experience in SAP is preferred.
BS in Business required. MBA preferred
PMP Certification is required.
