Director Enterprise Sales US Carriers Apple Santa Clara

Job Description:
Apple has recently placed significantly more emphasis on the Enterprise/Commercial market. In support of this we have created a Go-to-Market team in the US to drive this opportunity. We are actively seeking an executive-level sales leader to drive enterprise growth within the US carrier channel. Located at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, this newly created position is designed to help Apple scale its commercial business within this critical channel, with the potential to drive a significant portion of future revenue growth.

Strategic and innovative, this person will work with all of the major US carriers to scale Apple’s commercial business, facilitate collaboration with our mobility partners, and provide solutions for customers across the full range of Apple hardware and software solutions.

Key Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of business development and sales leadership experience selling solutions for hardware and/or software products
Must have enterprise and/or mid-market sales experience
Demonstrated track record of successfully scaling large, complex channel-focused businesses
Strong experience partnering with leading technology solutions providers, ideally with carriers, telecom service providers or OEMs
Exceptional relationship building skills and ability to work with virtual teams across internal groups at Apple; as well as teams within partner organizations at all levels
A strong and respected leader of people
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and commercial skills; flair for developing demand generation initiatives
Frequent travel required

Description

• Drive execution of Apple’s global enterprise strategy within the carrier channel; work with carriers to deliver relevant solutions for business customers on the iOS platform. Position, evangelize and implement Apple’s commercial programs such as the Mobility Partner Program (MPP)
• Partner with Apple teams (in Geo and WW) to improve the quality of the Commercial programs
• Ensure the strategy is effectively communicated out to Apple’s field sales organization
• Create an effective enablement strategy that drives scale for Apple’s initiatives in the carrier channel
• Create and manage key C-level relationships within our carrier partners
• Partner with carriers to develop demand generation strategies – explore ways to broaden the relationship and enable their business
• Promote a culture of strong cross-functional collaboration with key internal groups within Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations and Finance to ensure that the carrier business is being effectively supported
• Build a deep understanding of Apple’s unique value proposition by market and product line
• Prioritize an ongoing commitment to Apple’s professional and ethical standards

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA or equivalent preferre
