The Director is expected to spend most of their time shaping and leading business transformation programs to address strategic business challenges and deliver the highest quality work to our clients. The remainder of the Directors time will be spent identifying and working with leadership to pursue business opportunities to provide value to clients. Responsibilities include:
Provide project leadership and direction on one or more projects while maintaining a high quality level of service. Ensure quality on all deliverables.
Build relationship with our SAP and Oracle teams
Be a thought leader in how the solutions can be implemented
Work with SAP and Oracle partner and build a relationship with them
Develop and manage client relationships on projects
Facilitate project execution by providing support in project-level issue resolution and management of scope
Contribute to business development through creation of new, leading edge, service offerings and capabilities. Develop point of view documents and marketing collateral
Help build, lead, and develop team of onshore/offshore consultant.
Identify and pursue up-sell opportunities.
Contribute to business development through activities such as pre-sales client presentations, research, and writing proposal, RFP responses and SOWs
Have the ability to position industry insights as they pertain to client needs & requirements
Deeply understand their client’s business challenges, and provide thought leadership in addressing these issuues
Desired Skills and Experience
Expertise in Supply Chain leading trends and technology and how to leverage them to create new innovative service offerings and client business operational value
Understand SCM solution stack in SAP and Oracle
Expertise in Supply Chain process flows, systems and procedures.
Minimum 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management consulting with a management and/or technology consulting firm
Minimum 15 years of experience in client relationship management and pre-sales support
Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain in Lifescience, Manufacturing, Communications or High Tech industry in a consulting or industry practitioner role.
Ability to independently develop high quality Supply Chain performance improvement proposals and intellectual capital
Ability to independently design and deliver successful supply chain consulting projects
Excellent MS PowerPoint capabilities and experience
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical concepts to all audiences
Ability to travel 60%+ of the time
Bachelor’s Degree required

Proven ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities
Experience building deep client relationships and identifying client's priority needs for service and support
Experience working in an on/off-shore model
Ability to manage teams of consultants and work with cross functional and client facing teams
