Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nursing Director of Clinical Practice, Education, and Research Application oversee development, personnel management, resource allocation and management controls to enhance the delivery of highest quality patient care within the Hospital. The Director collaborates with the Chief Nursing Office in setting, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating standards of care and practice based on current research and evidenced based practice, participates on assigned hospital and medical committees, and promotes collaborative relationships among Nursing Services, the medical staff and other departments. This Director functions as a UHS corporate liaison, acting as a regional representative on Corporate level councils, to develop and/or ensure educational content quality across the system. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

BSN in Nursing required.
MS required; Nursing preferred; MBA or other health-related masters will be considered.
Current acute care educational leader
Five years progressive management experience required.
Current Florida State RN Licensure
Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, research review and analysis, familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards preferred.
