Job Description:
The Creative Director provides leadership with strong creative and strategic vision. This role also is responsible for the creative output with oversight of the in-house creative team and processes: the ideation, presentation and execution of branding and marketing communications and the operational readiness of the creative team.

Role and Responsibilities:

Overall creation, building and maintaining of the company's creative reputation Knowledgeable of branding, advertising and conceptual development Understanding of environmental design and/or interior/facility design Command of typography, color, composition, hierarchy and an understanding of how they need to work together in developing on-brand, on-target solutions Demonstrate solid conceptual and design skills with acumen for solving complex business problems Manage a team of designers Work with internal teams to develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of various business units and stakeholders Manage art direction, design, copywriting and production of all projects Strong conceptual and prototyping capabilities in packaging desired Ensure compliance to all creative department standards and manage all communications with senior management and the executive team Manage outside resources/ misc. sub-contractors Foster positive relationships between the creative department and other functional areas Encourage strong collaborative relationships with project owners and other stakeholders within and outside the organization Generate and promote awareness and communication of team's creative success Work to improve communication and processes necessary for optimum creative output Provide evaluations, mentorship, and counsel to direct reports Create the optimum structures to provide effective, efficient development of creative assets Manage key administrative and financial aspects of the creative department

Desired Skills and Experience
Self-starter Desired Skills and Experience Education: BFA or BA required Minimum of 10+ years crafting excellent design Must have 5+ years of experience within an advertising agency setting or corporate in-house teams Previous experience as Art Director or Creative Director Proficient in Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), as well as basic understanding of UX design and designing for web and mobile Detail-oriented and able to multi-task Highly organized and strong project management skills. Can effectively manage resources and prioritize tasks. Proactive orientation with a "can do" approach, drive, and commitment to seeing projects to completion. Able to develop strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional departments Competent solutions-oriented thinker and problem-solver Strong communication and strong interpersonal skills required Desire to follow design trends Online portfolio required to demonstrate exceptional creative and technical skills
