Job Description:
As a Director of Cloud Vendor Management within Ingram Micro Cloud, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy, and build mind share and adoption of the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace.
Responsibilities include driving the commercial readiness and execution of our Vendor Portfolio and ensure we sustain consistently profitable growth.
In doing so, the Director of Cloud Vendor Management is ultimately responsible and accountable for developing joint annual business plans, drive interlock go-to-market plans with sales, marketing, and optimize pricing strategies throughout the organization so that Ingram Micro maximizes growth, market share, and profitability. The role is the intersection across product management, sales and marketing and will drive tight interlock by managing all aspects within a region as well as manage:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee execution of the joint plans within region.
Manage the processes and cadence that establishes superior portfolio performance.
Work with Global Alliance Executives to ensure regional plans are aligned.
Manage and develop regional team of Cloud Business Managers.
Develop strong interlock planning with Sales Managers.
Manage a regional portfolio P&L.
May play a primary point of contact for the vendors
Annual Vendor Business Planning.
Performance Management and Quarterly Business Reviews
Joint Go-to-Market Planning
Vendor Operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Manage day-to-day business relationship with vendor(s), oversee all aspects of the relationship and ensure regular, coordinated interaction.
Accountable for contract adoption & execution in line with the organizations target dates.
Prepare and give business reviews to the Ingram Micro senior management team.
Manage and drive quarterly business reviews and performance management.
Manage complex contract negotiations involving legal, marketing and business terms.
Effectively build strategic working relationships and develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
Build trust and display confidence in his or her intentions and those of the organization.
Strong sense of ownership in his or her work.
In depth knowledge of technology products and markets as well as competitive knowledge.
Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
10 years experience managing vendors, partners, or customer relationships or business development with solid, demonstrated performance.
Travel 30% - 40% of time
