Director Business Development Silicon Photonics Intel Santa Clara

Job Description:
Intel's Silicon Photonics Solutions Group (SPSG) is looking for an experienced Business Development Director to grow business for the Company's optical interface and interconnect products, by identifying early stage opportunities and drive design wins to close and revenue. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global strategic account management and business development in optical components and subsystems, networking equipment, or closely related field. S/he possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to build and sustain close relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers within our customers' organizations. The position require close collaboration with Intel's field team, and with the Product Management and Marketing function to deliver competitive solutions to the customer base - collaboration, true leadership, and commitment to targets are key attributes of the successful candidate.

This role is a Position of Trust. Bachelor or Masters degree in relevant technical field combined with solid business acumen and experience, or business background combined with extensive experience in Marketing, Product Management or Business Development in closely related technology and product space
Minimum 10 years' experience in relevant roles of increasing scope and responsibility
Superior communication and presentation skills; ability to synthesize vision and value proposition and proven ability to craft and present to senior and executive decision makers
Demonstrated track record of success in Business Development or Sales role in Cloud, enterprise, or network markets
The ideal candidate will be well versed in program management, matrixed leadership, prioritization/decision-making, sales and communication. The ideal candidate must be self-directed and highly driven, able to take directional guidance and be able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage through complexity, pattern recognize, and identify key trends and subtle shifts in the market, to communicate well with and across internal teams
Hard driving, entrepreneurial, collaborative and tenacious, driven to be successful and will continue to attack a problem with new approaches until it is solved.
