The Senior Direction of Marketing and Promotions will lead the development of all Consumer Communications to support Marketing and Media plans. The Senior Director will spearhead cross promotion and integration across the NBCUniversal family in addition to providing strategic and creative leadership for both the marketing communications and on-air promos teams.
Responsibilities
• Develop positioning of Golf Channel initiatives and strategic communication plans to meet marketing goals
• Lead and motivate the On-Air Promotions Team in the creative execution of spots for all tune in and non-tune in initiatives, ultimately driving viewership and ratings for the network’s priority programming
• Lead the Marketing Communications team and process in the strategic development and execution of creative across all media including but not limited to print, web, mobile and out of home
• Responsible for driving message consistency across all consumer touch points.
• Responsible for approval of all creative, scripts, graphics and final product before air
• Partner closely with Programming, Production, as well as Comcast/NBCU partners to identify new integration opportunities.
• Manage multiple departments, budgets and P&L’s.
• Keep current on industry innovations, trends, competitive marketplace and threats
Qualifications
• Create short and long term strategies Qualifications/Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related area
• 7 - 10 Years Agency Experience in Creative Strategy and Execution
• Proven track record of executing at a high level with ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
• Marketing experience in the cable TV/entertainment industry
• A strategic thinker and visionary with prudent business judgment
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts & manage dollars/budgets
• Excellent presentation skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management & team building skills with ability to motivate others
