Job Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to lead and drive Novell sales in North America through geographically dispersed sales reps, across all-size commercial accounts generating ~ $40 million business annually. The successful candidate will have leadership experience retaining and growing license and maintenance sales in a geographically diverse environment.
Requirements
10+ years experience in technology sales, with at least 5 years in a field leadership role
Experience managing and retaining a large installed based across industries and vertical markets
Strong sales mentality with a depth of experience in selling with the channel
Experience in leading, coaching and developing high end executive-level sales reps
Strong track record of team success in exceeding sales targets
Experience in planning a sales effort and executing against that plan
Ability to manage a remote team effectively
Strong individual selling skills
Experience in desktop focused software sales is highly desirable
Location: Any major city in the North America. Must be able to travel up to 50%.
