Director Global Account BT New York City

Job Description:
The role holder is responsible for the development of sales of designated products in established accounts in our financial services market sector. He/she will be the global lead on 2-3 existing accounts and will work in partnership with the global account teams to define strategy and progress business relationships. He/she negotiates at a high level, but within well-defined limits of delegation.

Key Responsibilities
· To define, develop and own key customer relationships and customer contact strategy.
· To make a significant contribution to company's sales revenue.
· To maintain and develop a pipeline to support the stated Global and local account targets.

· To operate in line with BT processes and procedures and demonstrating a commitment to get the job done.

· To manage Customer Satisfaction within the assigned account base.

· To participate and contribute to regular team calls for the assigned accounts.

· To ensure interactions with customers and colleagues are respectful and courteous and represent BT in a professional way.

· Will had dotted line management of members of a direct or virtual team.

· Evidence of teamwork and willingness to support others and BT.

· May operate on a multi-country basis.
To follow the latest trends and developments in own field and adapt these to apply in the organization


Qualifications and Required Experience/ Skills & Education

· Relevant experience in a consultative sales approach with global clients.

· Understanding of how to navigate the complex relationship dynamics of a multi-layered global client environment

· Good leadership skills in managing, motivating and coaching team members

· Sales / Client relationship management experience in the financial services or payments industry

· Significant experience operating within an international sales environment

· Knowledge of the products that are included in the BTGS portfolio

· Evidence of growing revenues and increasing profitability from customers while achieving targets
Excellent communications, presentation & negotiation skills
Degree and 10 years of relevant job experience
Domestic and some international travel required
