Job Description:
The Site team is looking for an innovative, hard-working, analytical, and creative Director, Digital Store Operations - Entertainment, to join our team. The Site Team leads strategizing, innovating and developing the customer experience for Walmart.com. As we continue to scale, across platforms and assortment, we continue to look for ways to provide a seamless experience for customers shopping Walmart.com.

The Director, Digital Store Operations - Entertainment, will be responsible for owning and innovating the customer experience for their departments, working closely with various business partners to deliver business results, and also partnering with product and technology teams to determine requirements to further enhance the features available to our customers.

A successful candidate must have experience in developing digital experiences, leading and developing successful teams, a strong analytical and business background, and also familiarity with technology and platform capabilities. They must be able to work in a highly demanding but collegial environment where teamwork is a must. The right candidate will be flexible, action and results oriented, and self-starting. They must also be decisive and able to move with speed to implement their own ideas.

The Director, Digital Store Operations - Entertainment, will have significant management responsibilities, including hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance management. You will also partner with cross-functional leads to optimize the site experience.

Position Description

The Director, Digital Store Operations - Entertainment
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
Develops and executes a world-class web measurement strategy
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
Drives foundational understanding of website performance and trends
Ensures cross-functional alignment on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Leads the development and execution of long and short-term strategies
Manages and provides direction to managers and analysts
Provides overall direction for Site Merchandising


Minimum Qualifications
E-commerce digital merchandising experience – management of large businesses, product / tech partnership, business owner of new features, demonstration of successful launches of large-scale initiatives
Ability to understand and run a business, data-driven and decision making
Leadership – ability to manage broad teams, cross functional influence
Strategy / vision – develop a customer experience of the future
Technical understanding of back-end to front-end / customer facing dependencies
Approximately 7-10 years of relevant e-commerce experience
Bachelor’s Degree
