Job Description:
As Director of Customer Acquisition you will lead one of Weebly’s most important growth areas and have a significant direct impact on the business and the bottom line. You will lead and manage a team and a multi-million dollar acquisition budget to develop and optimize Weebly’s paid online marketing channels across search, affiliate, display and paid social to drive profitable growth and pioneer new channels, audiences and geographic expansion opportunities to scale customer acquisition. This role reports to the CMO.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive global online customer acquisition strategy and execution to maximize key business growth goals (revenue generation, user acquisition and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the CMO)
Plan and optimize marketing spend and assess channel and campaign performance
Design, oversee and analyze rigorous marketing testing across channels, creative and landing pages to gain insight and accelerate growth
Identify and test new high potential customer acquisition opportunities
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Design and Engineering to improve online acquisition and conversion
Package and provide insight into customer acquisition performance and investments
Develop a strong understanding of category, market dynamics and competition to inform and evolve our customer acquisition strategy
Stay on top of latest marketing trends, properties and technologies
Manage budget to support P&L goals, partnering with Finance and Analytics.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team and manage agency partners

Experience and Qualifications:
A proven track record of developing, executing and scaling high impact, profitable, multi-channel customer acquisition programs that drive business results
Exceptional data and analytical skills with the ability to be both analytical and creative
Excellent communicator at all levels. Able to drive alignment and action toward goals
Excited by the challenge and opportunity of a fast paced, fluid, high growth startup
A team first mindset, with high results, low ego orientation
Experience working with similar acquisition and conversion models for subscription service businesses highly desirable
Experience managing direct reports and cross-functional teams
7+ years of relevant experience with significant B2C tech marketing experience
BA required, MBA a plus
