Job Description:
• We are looking for candidates with minimum 8 years of overall IT work experience preferably with large / globally established IT Services MNC’s from the Life Science industry.
• This position will have responsibility for managing business for one of our large Life Science clients.
• He/she will be the leader in updating, articulating, and implementing our comprehensive strategic vision and plan for maximizing revenue & client satisfaction.
• He/she will be positioned for additional responsibilities based on their success and a part of overall corporate succession planning.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
• Lead sales activities for growing revenue and exceeding targets
• Achieve and exceed revenue & operating margin targets for the client
• Strategize with internal vertical/consulting groups to create compelling value propositions/solutions
• Develop and sustain an environment that will enable the client business projects to attract and retain good team performers
• Use innovation and creativity in developing new methods for growing the business profitability, while acting upon the competitive dynamics of the markets in which the organization’s products and services compete.
• Actively represent the overall company with client in maintaining and building strong relationships. Work with the executive leadership teams to ensure present and future target goals are exceeded
• Ensure businesses are in full compliance with privacy, regulatory and other compliance regulations.
• Responsible for sustaining and driving the customer satisfaction in the company
• Experience of working in or with Life Sciences/Medical Device clients
Job Requirements:
Successful candidate will have a very good track record in growth-oriented services management, with solid strategic as well as tactical abilities and superior relationship management skills. He/She will demonstrate the confidence and ability to connect with C-Suites and seed business ideas/thoughts.
• An ideal candidate will have IT industry experience of minimum 8 years
• Experience in understanding & selling IT services
• Experience in understanding & selling Compliance and Validation Testing services
• Aspirants for this position would be expected to have extensive client interfacing experience (excellent communication-both verbal & written & a pleasing personality)
• Hands on experience developing & presenting stories using multiple media avenues
• Be able to interact with global teams – USA, India, etc
• Must have current experience building and managing at least $5+MM business
• Must be a natural leader accomplished in developing a strong services Delivery culture in competitive and complex market environments
• Strategic achievements that indicate an ability to manage challenges of the present effectively while positioning the organization to capitalize on the opportunities and services of the future.
• Must have a positive, self-assured, outgoing manner; be creative by nature and be able to build respect, trust and loyalty within the company.
• Overall experience in Contract negotiation, Making effective presentations at the highest level, Solution mindset is essential
• Strong results orientation. Sets and accomplishes challenging goals by leveraging team resources effectively. Takes calculated risks to achieve desired results.
• Education: MBA preferred. A Bachelors degree is a must.
• Prior work experience in IT Services / Consulting establishment would be highly desirable
• Must have prior work authorization to work in the United States
