Senior Director Consumer Marketing Analytics Aetna New York City

Job Description
Senior Director will be responsible for Defining a long term strategy for marketing analytics to support efforts for direct and digital marketing programs for enterprise, Business to Business, Business to Consumer and Business to Government business

Provides thought leadership in information based, data driven, decision making process in support of planning, designing, implementing, and monitoring marketing programs for Consumer and Commercial businesses.

Utilizes resources, technology, and data to develop a range of quantitative analyses to help business teams determine optimal engagement, allocation of marketing budget across different media, optimal allocation of business resources and processes with a goal of maximizing marketing ROI.

Fundamental Components

Partners with business and functional leads to identify business problems and solve strategic and tactical issues requiring quantitative analysis for resolution.

Builds marketing and customer analytics framework and program level business intelligence in support of acquisition, engagement and retention strategies.

Defines a long term strategy for marketing analytics to support enterprise wide multimedia marketing programs.

Recruits, develops, and manages team of diverse analysts, leads, and managers.
Creates policies and procedures to support long term analytics objectives by developing targeting, segmentation, testing, and other multichannel capabilities enabling utilization of data assets for information based decision making.

Accountable for successful utilization of data, resources, vendors, and other analytical assets with the ultimate goal of maximizing ROI, creating new capabilities, and general support of business objectives.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE Desired

10+ years of directly relevant experience in quantitative business analysis role(s).
Leadership and mentoring of large staff of 20+
Visionary leadership to carry out tactical and strategic initiatives.
Consumer products or financial services marketing analytics background preferred.
Excellent understanding of test and learn initiatives and other statistical techniques used to provide analytical support.
Strong cognitive skills for identifying and resolving business problems.
Excellent written and written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Other work locations will be considered. Will be required to travel to Hartford, CT office 2-3 days per week monthly.
