Responsibilities
Establishes and drives overall strategy of the user experience and functional specifications for new products and enhancements across platforms
Manages relationships with key stakeholders and executive team


Facilitates the consistent and timely feedback, career development, training and performance reviews of design staff
Offers creative solutions to product-related design/usability challenges and expose usability problems.
Influences and evaluates success criteria and prioritize an efficient roadmap that balances short-term and longer-term experiences and focuses appropriately on the highest value opportunities that thrill and empower users


Desired Skills & Experience
8-12 years experience. strong managerial skills, with a track record of hiring and developing strong individual contributor UX and UI designers (> 5 years management experience). Ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment
Innate understanding of consumer-focused digital experiences across site and mobile, represented by direct experience across multiple channels
Superior relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills within cross-functional teams, including specific examples of successful working relationships and processes with product management and engineering
Solid analytical and problem‐solving skills, a passion for continuous improvement and an unwavering commitment to excellence and timeliness of solution delivery
Ability to solve complex user (cognitive) problems through interface design and usability expertise
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design or a related field is preferred.
