Job Description
Responsibilities
Leading the Program Management Office, consisting of several subordinate program managers and project managers
Using your technical prowess to influence the decisions and direction that will drive our solutions from conception through to general availability
Balancing customer requirements from our Product Management team against available resources to define the scope and schedule of the release
Working directly with multiple parallel dev/test scrum teams, the PMO drives product delivery through to general availability using a repeatable and agile engineering process
Specifying and enforcing adherence to product quality improvement processes, including use of continuous integration testing and automated regression testing; tracking engineering progress through iterative and incremental planning; and reporting on products, processes and programs to executive management


Articulating and remediating risk for product releases by ensuring that the right decisions are made at the right time, that appropriate communication occurs, and that plans are intelligently adjusted to reflect necessary fluctuations in goals and requirements as business needs change
Collaborating with external groups (Localization, Pre-Release, Documentation, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Support, etc.) to coordinate release processes, facilitate deliverable hand-offs, and ensure timely delivery of fully-qualified whole products to our customers
Coordinating and communicating with internal customers (and perhaps external customers and third-party partners) as needed to set and manage expectations, highlight and resolve issues, and ensure an overall excellent experience working with the team

Qualifications
10 to 15 years of experience managing high-quality enterprise software development programs, products, and features to customers
A keen interest in security, search and processing technology and how they might be applied to address important customer needs
Experience in leading engineering from design through release, leveraging management skills for project sizing, resource allocation, testing, documentation, operational acceptance, and deployment
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and the ability to influence or synthesize an approach marrying hybrid methodologies
Proven success managing complex project schedules, resolving competing dependencies, and fostering cross team collaboration
Excellent communication skills, including both writing and verbal collaboration with the ability to shift styles as you move between multiple team discipline
A BS/MS or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
