Job Description
Establish operational objectives and work plans, and delegate assignments to subordinate managers and employees.
Develop systems and services that support Xerox and business unit needs; provide leadership and focus in area of expertise.
Manage relationships with clients and be the first point of escalation to deal with any time-sensitive or critical issues.
Responsible for achieving measurable results on time and on budget.
Develop and subsequently implement new projects, policies and procedures for the department(s) to meet specific goals.
Formulate and implement procedures on operational processes; ensure operations' effective achievement of objectives.
Direct and manage approximately six (6) direct reports to ensure performance standards are met and client and project commitments are adhered to.
Advise staff members in resolving problems and issues that arise with internal and external customers.
May partner with senior staff in developing and marketing new client programs / service offerings as required.
Participate in client presentations and training.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Responsible for annual performance appraisals, disciplinary actions and other administrative duties regarding staff.
Participate with executive management to establish strategic plans and objectives.
Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
Provide support to marketing staff by assisting in the preparation of documentation and promotional literature. Participate and provide input at marketing / sales meetings.
Pursue marketing leads by providing system presentations and demonstrations of existing and proposed products to new and current clients.
Represent Xerox at industry conferences, meetings, and trade shows.
Play lead role (or assist) in maintaining accurate up-to-date client lists and non-client target lists.
