Job Description
AOL defines “Commercialization” as “systematically planning across functions to successfully launch new products and features.” The Director, ONE by AOL Commercialization will be responsible for this function, driving successful, cross-functional go-to-market programs for new ONE by AOL features and products, AOL’s advertising technology stack. This role will lead the function and a team of Project Managers, driving standardization and efficiency across this team. The Director, ONE by AOL Commercialization will report to the Platform Client Services lead, and will be held accountable for clearly defining the success metrics of a given product or feature launch, then effectively driving a cross-functional team to deliver on those metrics.
Qualifications
• 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Strong team leadership skills, driving efficiency, standardization, and growth among team members
• Understands SaaS technology business model, solid knowledge of the process behind releasing technology products
• Background in advertising technology, working closely and effectively with product management and other cross-functional inputs
• Can deftly hold business leads accountable for progress against work streams, maintaining productive relationships and driving projects forward
• Proven track record driving large projects and executing process in detailed, organized, reliable fashion – very strong project management skills
• Manages comfortably in times of change and ambiguity; thrives in a fast-paced, fluid business on the forefront of programmatic technology
