Job Description
The Director of Marketing Communication is responsible for developing communication strategy and programs to engage, nurture, convert and retain customers. This individual will play a pivotal role in the Marketing department, creating and publishing customerfocused content and blogs, social media, collaborating on press releases, building strong relationships with the media and measuring success. Responsibilities
● Direct the development and execution of global marketing communications initiatives including product launches, sales collateral, trade shows, campaigns, social media presence, company website, public relations, internal communication, and corporate events.
● Develop and manage communications strategy that strengthens market understanding, engagement and commitment to WebDAM.
● Set objectives, measure results and manage continuous improvement of marketing communication programs.
● Work closely with demand gen team to produce materials and campaigns that drive results and hit performance metrics.
● Produce content through hands on writing as well as managing content from colleagues and third party contributors.
● Ensure brand voice and tone are consistently delivered through all communication.
● Develop and manage relationships with marketing communication agencies and contributors.
● Adapt content for distribution.
● Assume primary responsibility for DAM IT blog content and performance.
● Contribute to the development of press releases and internal communications.
Basic Qualifications
● 5+ years of directly relevant experience in marketing communication, content marketing or related discipline.
● World class writing and editing skills.
● Good head for strategy and ability to align content with customer interest and market opportunity. Social media and SEO expertise.
● Strong ability to build, grow and nurture relationships with outside press, partners and internal team members.
● Committed blogger who knows how to create clickable and shareable content.
● Extremely organized and deadline driven with proven ability to run a successful content calendar.
