Director Finance Business Transformation Aol New York

Job Description
This finance and business transformation position is a part of AOL’s Global Finance organization. Its focus is to support leadership in gaining organizational visibility and creating business unit alignment around driving efficiencies. Additionally, a focus will be on transforming the finance organization to increase efficiency and effectiveness as a business partner. Responsibilities include identifying process efficiencies, recommending appropriate actions and driving implementation of transformation initiatives. The position will interact with a broad group of individuals across AOL and is based in New York City, reporting to the SVP of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the process efficiency initiatives are undertaken and the benefits are being fully utilized through the organization.

o The role will be self-funded with clear targets for improving efficiencies.

• Provides processes, guidance, structure and tools for business unit management of transformation initiatives.

• Ensures accountability and enables the predictability of the outcomes of each transformation initiative.

• The key result areas are strategy/planning, project, communication and change management, and continuous improvement performance management.

• Partners with the finance team to drive to a world class finance operating environment.


Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Finance or Engineering. MBA, CFA, and/or CPA a plus.

• 5-7 years of related experience in financial modeling and competitive intelligence; consulting experience a plus.

• Black belt or background with lean six sigma a plus.

• Working Knowledge of Hyperion Planning, HFM, and/or SAP a plus. Previous systems implementation experience a plus.

• Proficiency with MS Office, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to present analysis and findings to peers and executive team.

• Must be extremely organized and be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
