Director Emerging Markets Retail Brand Nike Beaverton

Job Description
As our Emerging Markets Retail Brand Presentation Director, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing the complete retail presentation plans for key categories. You'll be responsible for developing programs that will maximize the brand through retail experiences, product awareness and sales, via product presentations and retail experiences that are meaningful to consumers. You'll adopt and adapt the Global vision and strategy at the Geo level to guide Territory executions that will provide unique and compelling categorical Retail experiences for consumers. You'll develop strategies that maximize retail opportunities for the consumer through the appropriate mix of marketplace management, retail zoning, creative installations, product assortment, merchandising support, education, etc. You’ll drive integrated seasonal planning process based on category game plan to deliver seasonal executions with creativity, excitement and consistent brand messaging. You'll lead the product presentation, service and environment definitions for the category. In addition, you'll will partner with and develop the Retail Brand teams in Territories for respective categories.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field (2 years' additional experience may be substituted in place of degree)
• 10+ years' progressive management experience with a combination of corporate retail, visual merchandising, product merchandising, brand marketing and retail sales
• Complete understanding of strategic planning and execution of visual merchandising presentation of apparel and/or footwear
• Experience setting a global or geo strategy on how product will show up at retail to create premium retail experiences
• Experience designing an assortment with product merchandising with insight on how it will be 'brought to life' on the floor
• Ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
• Ability to develop high-profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers
• Leadership capabilities, including the ability to innovate, inspire, empower and coach others in the work group
• Ability to lead high-profile, complex initiatives and project teams
• Ability to create new ideas, generate consensus and work cooperatively
• Capacity to lead change efforts in cross-cultural environments
