Job Description
The Business Unit Ultrasound within Siemens Healthcare is looking for a high performing Global Product Marketing Manager to drive revenue growth via its high-end Cardiology products and solutions. The position will report directly to the Director of Product Marketing in the global Headquarter in Mountain View, CA / USA. The Global Product Marketing Market Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of a marketing plan aligned to the Cardiology segment strategy, to include product messaging and branding, required collateral content, sales and applications product training (content and delivery), and pricing input. The role will work closely with the Ultrasound communications group on all communication for the Cardiology products. The high profile responsibility of developing global Marketing campaigns and revenue as well as generating sales strategies and serving as the main contact to the Regional Business Managers and customers in our global Headquarter is a crucial part of the role.

The role will support both direct sales channels and sales partner relationships. The position covers the Marketing responsibility throughout the entire product life cycle from defining market requirements during the R&D phase through product launch planning (Go To Market) and on-going sales and marketing support. This will provide the opportunity for tight collaboration with all CRM teams as well as with our R&D, Service, and Supply Chain Management departments. A customer - focused approach with excellent communication and presentation skills is required.

Required:
BA/BSc or equivalent educational background
>2 years of marketing experience in the healthcare industry
Ability to understand and translate customer requirements into product requirements
Successful track record in completion of complex assignments
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement product marketing plans.
Excellent English verbal and written communication and presentation skills to represent product marketing plans to senior executives, sales, customers, top prospects, analysts and press
Strong process orientation and focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully execute projects under a heavy workload and changing conditions is critical
Strong network and excellent communication skills
Experienced in conflict resolution to address perceived and real customer concerns
Interested in mutual understanding and international cultural sensitivity. Ability to assess the effect of his/her activities on other people. Ability to build network of relationships. Correctly judges the importance of the formal and informal authorities within the customer’s and Siemens organizations.
National and international travel up to 20% will be required at times

Preferred:
A proven track record of managing worldwide marketing programs and product introductions.
Preferred - International work experience.
Preferred - At least five years of experience in the medical imaging (capital equipment) field. Knowledge of the imaging marketplace, trends, and competitors.
Preferred – Thorough understanding of Ultrasound technology.
