Job Description
Software Product Marketer to join the Sensing The Software Product Marketer will own Sensing & Productivity Solutions commercialization strategy and execution across all and go-to-market areas.
You will be responsible marketing multiple SaaS and IoT offerings into both direct and in-direct distribution channels. You would be the focal point across multiple supporting functional marketing teams.
Specific areas of coverage include (a) planning, creation and delivery of new launch campaigns for new B2B and B2C SaaS offerings (b) persona and segment driven digital storytelling and messaging strategies (c) training and supporting sales channels, (d) engaging with external developer communities, (e) tracking and managing to key performance indicators across the find/try/buy/use customer journey, (f) designing and managing customer feedback loops to aid product development, inform roadmap strategies, optimize online and offline campaigns using the latest tools and best practices, and (g) driving monetization results.
Engaging with your Product Development Partner(s) you will provide critical customer-centric expertise that will shape further iterations of the end-to-end customer experience. Supported by cross-functional regional marketing and business resources your offerings may be global so you would be expected to drive product marketing excellence across established and developing markets.
Other product marketing duties would serving as subject matter expert on product councils, aiding in the execution of communication and press releases, speaking at tradeshows, and articipating developer communities. Working with line-of-business operations partners. Developing an end-to-end communications strategy that provides impacted customers with sufficient notice, understanding and useful information about local efforts and how these initiatives support the company s objectives.
Essential Experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and/or related technical experience
• 7 years' experience in product management and/or strategy; specifically software areas of expertise related to enterprise software, SaaS
PREFFERED EXPERIENCE
• Sales enablement - communicating the value proposition of products to the sales team
• Requirements and backlog management using agile tools
• Product launch - plan and launch of new software SaaS products and releases
• A/B testing, Behavioral Analytics, and Revenue Optimization
• Keen knowledge of SaaS KPIs, churn management,
• In-bound demand generation strategy and techniques
• Digital story telling
• Excellent writing and messaging skills
• Demonstrated track record of delivering products and services to market through direct and in-direct channels.
• Experience working closely with direct engineering, product, and sales teams.
• Global product marketing experiences a plus.
• Knowledge of SaaS software development and Agile processes.
• Passion for driving excellence and leading teams.
• Passion for new technology with a technical understanding of cloud infrastructure
• Self-motivated strategic thinker with proven ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communications skills and experience working with company executives and senior management.
