Job Description
In this role you will gain experience in automating the testing of a scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure and platform-as-a-service (PaaS/IaaS). You will work with a variety of technologies such as OpenStack and OpenShift and get exposure to open source projects such as Google Kubernetes, Google Go, Docker and Vagrant.



Furthermore, you will provide test automation for application onboarding and service deployments through various environments up until into production.
• Performs hands-on test automation for the entire platform technology stack
• Implements continuous integration solutions for releases
• Works closely with customers to drive platform quality
• Proactively helps enhancing the test coverage
• Works with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies

QualificationsQualifications

• 10+ years of technical experience with Linux, databases and at least one major programming language.
• 7+ years of experience with networking protocols and applications (TCP/IP, proxies, load balancing, firewalls, etc.)
• In-depth understanding of QA processes in general
• Familiar with agile or other rapid application development methods (Continuous Delivery and Deployments)
• Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and to articulate solutions
• Ability to think abstractly and deal with problems
• Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation
• Looks proactively beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, and takes pride in how fast they develop working software
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, is preferred
• Experience in Selenium and TestNG
• In depth experience working with Java
