The Director of eCommerce Capabilities is responsible for developing and implementing eCommerce capability strategies, roadmaps and initiatives that will enable accelerated channel growth at Chobani. This role partners with Marketing, Supply Chain and IT to develop scalable capabilities and customizing where appropriate. This role is key to driving our eCommerce strategy. The Capabilities lead will be responsible for the Data and Reporting, Demand Generation and eCommerce Automation.
The responsibilities of this position include:

Partner with Marketing, Creative, Product & Technology to leverage new eCommerce technologies and drive sales across eTail (Pureplay and Omni-Channel), B2B, Food Service and potentially D2C
Understand all major retailer product content management/product submission platforms
Maintain a forward looking perspective on eCommerce technology (e.e. mobile, D2C, B2B, ratings & reviews, buy-now, personalization), consumer trends for adoption and educate internal business teams on implications
Evangelize best practices, standards and guidelines for eCommerce and technology platforms across the business
Identify product catalogue and information management tool to ensure consistent and accurate item data transfer to retailer platforms
Collaborate with digital asset management to syndicate content that drives discoverability, engagement and conversion via a strong customer experience
Lead eCommerce innovation opportunities behind B2B enterprise platforms, D2C storefronts and partnership opportunities with 3rd parties (i.e. other CPG’s or entities like Airbnb)
Conduct maintenance and improvement of listings (title, description, images, reviews, prices, product specs, customer questions, etc.) to increase selling performance
Assist in SEO strategies and initiatives to ensure content is properly optimized for search engine success
Monitor and analyze KPIs (visits, conversation rate, ROI, cost analysis, return rate, etc.)
Manage on-going monthly product content audits and content auditing software to ensure compliance and accuracy of published content on Chobani owned and Retailer sites
Prepare weekly and daily reporting for Ecommerce management team to aid in accurate seasonal plans and strategy creation
The requirements of this position include:

Bachelor’s Degree required
5-10 years of eCommerce experience, preferably in operations and consulting/advisory roles with experience leveraging various commercial eCommerce technologies within the CPG industry
Strong experience building and deploying eCommerce capabilities
Systems experience: Digital Shelf technologies including PIM (Salsify, Stibo), DAM (Adobe, Widen), content syndication (Salsify, Shotfarm, WebCollage), Content Monitoring (Clavis, Profitero, Content Analytics), B2B platforms (Hybris, Ariba and Coupa) and D2C platforms (Magento and Demandware)
View of rapidly changing eCommerce content marketing environment including trends, systems, competition and understanding of both consumer and customer behaviors
Requires strong strategic skills and an ability to execute the projects and programs for product content syndication that is both specific to eCommerce and additive to brand- and retailer-level efforts
Ability to contribute collaboratively to a team while also working independently and proactively to analyze issues and improve results
Strong problem-solving solving skills and demonstrated analytical ability
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Some travel required
