Director Outside Sales Dental Sikka Software Corporation San Jose

Job Description
The Outside Sales Director, Dental is responsible for directing the sales of Sikka Software’s Apps to dentist offices and will be focused on aggressively bringing in new business. Experience working with dental practices, Practice Management Systems or Electronic Medical Records is a plus. This position reports to the VP of Sikka App Sales and is a direct contributor role, not managing employees.

Responsibilities

· Help Sikka Software gain market share by establishing relationships with key dental practices and selling Sikka Apps to them.

· Analyze business opportunities and develop strategic sales plans

· Must understand the challenges dental practices face in today’s economic environment and be able to sell through it

· Establish relationships with dental practices via phone calls and in person meetings

· Ability to perform demos at dental practices and tradeshows

· Analyze territory to understand the top target dental practices

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· 6 years of software sales experience (preferably Software as a Service)

· Must have proven track record of sales success, ideally selling healthcare software solutions

· Must have excellent in-person and phone presentation skills and be able to customize talking based on the audience and pain points of the dental practices

· Must be coachable and able to learn new things quickly

· Must have the ability to navigate through a dental practice and reach decision makers

· Experience using Sugar CRM

· Ability to travel 50-60% of the time
