Job Description
Maintain and supervise all aspects of the security efforts across the MFA, including information technology, human resources, communications, legal, facilities management and other groups, and will identify security initiatives and standards of MFA’s onsite and remote locations.
Responsibilities

• Advanced experience in Cyber Security threats and defenses including Perimeter Security, Anti-Malware, Intrusion Prevention and Vulnerability Assessments mitigation strategies.
• Strong team and project management skills in a complex, heterogeneous, global environment. HIPAA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current IT security concerns and changes in technology as they relate to the corporate IT environment.
• Proficiency in relevant security related areas including: Virtualization, UNIX/Linux, Networks, Telecommunications, Intranet/Internet/Extranet, Firewalls.
• Lead Technical Security activities to enhance the value of MFA
• Execute protection goals, objectives and metrics consistent with corporate strategic plan.
• Develops and implements global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security. Physical protection responsibilities will include asset protection, access control systems, surveilance, and more. Information protection responsibilities will include employee education and awareness, and more.
• Work with network team to identify security threats to the organization and mitigate those threats
• Maintain relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.
• Conducts investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.
• Work with outside consultants as appropriate for independent security audits.

Education
Master’s degree in computer science, information security, business, or related discipline (may be waived with strong practical experience.)
Experience
Demonstrated organizational, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills. At least 5-10 years of strong practical experience in a technical project environment, with proficiency in Security.
Competencies
Must be an intelligent, articulate and persuasive leader who can serve as an effective member of the senior management team and who is able to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
Should have experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation.
Must have strong working knowledge of pertinent law and the law enforcement community.
Must have a solid understanding of information technology and information security.
