Job description
AddThis is seeking an Inside Sales leader to manage and lead a growing inside sales team for its SaaS product, AddThis Pro, targeted to Enterprise-level customers. This is a new area of focus for AddThis, so this candidate will embrace rolling up their sleeves to sell on the front lines while the team ramps up. This leader will utilize past SaaS sales experience in developing and implementing successful inside sales practices that will foster revenue expansion and professional growth of the sales team. The Inside Sales Director will continue to enhance the sales capabilities of the team through proper coaching, leveraging sales / production metrics, collaboration with internal partners and executing a solid sales strategy.



The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inside sales -- both handling inbound leads as well as initiating cold outreach. This individual will drive inside sales for our AddThis Pro product, but will be expected to be knowledgeable and eventually sell across our full suite of SaaS marketing and audience targeting tools. In addition to being a strong leader, coach and mentor, they must be an excellent communicator who is highly motivated, passionate, and driven by the challenge of building out and advancing a sales team, increasing sales meetings and exceeding goals.

Desired Skills and Experience
Primary Responsibilities:

Build the inside sales function by putting together the right people, processes and plans to drive sales

Lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue quotas

Create and drive strategic sales plan while optimizing team selling processes

Provide coaching and training techniques to help Inside Sales Reps maximize their success

Partner closely with the Marketing team to support lead development strategies

Establish and exceed sales activity and opportunity pipeline metrics that support attainment of revenue goals

Establish and exceed nurture activity metrics that support attainment of client satisfaction goals

Collaborate with Account Management team to ensure customer success with AddThis products

Drive and contribute to a high performance sales culture

Required Skills/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or related experience required

At least 5+ years of Inside Sales experience, preferably with a SaaS product

At least 3+ years of Inside Sales Management experience

Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth environment

Proven ability to plan, forecast, and manage resources

Motivational coach and trainer, with the ability to build positive and productive working relationships and foster creativity, innovation and integrity within a team

Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned quotas and timelines

In-depth knowledge and experience in sales methodology with excellent closing and negotiation skills

Strong familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)

Knowledge of marketing technology products and platforms is a plus

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate effectively and influence others

Strong sense of accountability and responsibility

High degree of perseverance and passion.

Able to quickly change direction and operate in a fast-paced environment

Able to travel 5-10%, mostly domestic
