Director Continuous Improvement LEGO Group Enfield

Job Description
As the Director, you will lead a team of Sr. Managers and Consultants, while working closely with and acting as a sparring partner to senior leadership to drive the creation of a continuous improvement mindset at all levels of the organization.

A vital role supporting strategy and overall business productivity

• People Development and Team Leadership (60%)
• Set LCI direction for Enfield HUB based on stakeholder input and global alignment; coordinate HUB activities based on collaboration with all Corporate Management (CM) members represented on campus; resource allocation; ensure quality and consistency across LCI community (20%)
• Participant on Global LCI Leadership Team (LT), Extended LT and People Leader Forum (20%)

The scope of the role is to support all functions based in the Enfield HUB and the countries that constitute the America’s (AMS) CM area. The main focus will be to implement LCI tools, processes, behaviors and mindset with the aim of building organization capabilities. The role is in a position to influence, coach and challenge leaders at all levels to adapt LCI Thinking practices and to demonstrate LCI behaviors.

Do you have what we are looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree with a mminimum of 5 years of continuous improvement or lean implementation experience in an administrative environment; Master’s degree preferred
• Lean/Six Sigma Certification a MUST have
• An expert in continuous improvement tools and techniques across different functions within a business and familiar with systems thinking
• Experience working with senior management to secure mandate and support for continuous improvement introduction
• Experience as an internal or external consultant/coach
• Previous people leadership experience
• Travel: Approximately 4 weeks international travel for first 2 years, with amount increasing as we expand into other markets in Americas
