Director Commercial Analytics LifeCell Corporation San Antonio

Job Description
Responsible for creating value and driving results through commercial analytics and performance reporting in support of the US and Canada Advanced Wound Therapeutics (AWT) markets. Will transform and lead the team accountable for developing commercial insights in support of market development activities for both existing and pipeline products. Creates and delivers reporting and dashboard functionality to drive commercial performance and accountability.
Key contributor to the development of commercialization strategies for acute and post-acute channels, downstream marketing, franchise portfolio management and managed care markets. Owner of the commercial technology roadmap and customer relationship management platform.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Design and manage the critical functions of commercial analytics and commercial reporting

• Enable strategic market development through development of effective customer segmentation analysis, targeting tools and performance tracking

• Enhance and drive the commercial business review process with sales leadership that creates transparency, insights and action across all products, channels and customers

• Create strategy for and integrate third party data (claims, primary market research) into all commercial analytics and reporting for seamless analysis from corporate account level down to the facility level

• Drive analytical insights in support of product portfolio and franchise development activities all the way through new product launch analytics, forecasts, targeting and performance tracking

• Own the direct analytical support for Sales executive leadership

• Partner with IT commercial team to develop reporting infrastructure resulting in a more integrated & automated enterprise solution with a higher degree of data integrity

• Create executive and tactical dashboards utilizing statistical process controls to enable rapid identification of areas of high or low performance while providing the necessary insights to direct action

• Partners with sales operations leadership to drive a sales force automation strategy

Skills And Experiences

• Strong experience in overseeing business intelligence/analytics processes with demonstrated understanding of database and system architecture

• Demonstrated experience with customer relationship management solutions

• Demonstrated capability in applying statistical analysis to develop business insights

• Strong leadership, influencing and negotiation skills

• Demonstrated success in communicating to and influencing senior management

• Demonstrated ability to partner with sales team to find customer focused solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required in Statistics, Systems, Analytics, Engineering or related technical field

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in the medical device or related life science industry (example: pharma, biotech)

• Minimum of five (5) years working in and/or leading an analytical business team

• Advanced Excel and Access skills with ability to model complex business scenarios

• Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent Masters Degree preferred

• Experience with acute (hospitals) and post-acute (skilled nursing facilities, wound care clinics, home healthcare) channels

• Oracle R12 ERP experience

• Saleforce CRM experience

• OBIEE, Business Objects or other enterprise reporting solution

• Lean Six Sigma certification

Education

• Bachelors Degree required in Statistics, Systems, Analytics, Engineering or related technical field
