Director Channel Sales Intel Florida

Job Description
The Director, Channel Sales Latin America is responsible for overall planning, organizing and managing all channel related functions to achieve the company objective of revenue growth, profits, and visibility within the partner community. The Director of Channel must ensure the highest ROI on the use of Market Development Funds and execution of other tactical programs.



What you will do...
The Director must ensure that his Team is fully executing the proper performance of partner sales representatives through training, incentives and motivation, as establishing the proper communication protocol to support these initiatives.
Must be able to develop and execute a plan with his or her team to broadly and deeply engage McAfee executives with customer and partner executives on a consistent and ongoing basis. Great customer partner relationships should be the result across LTAM.
Must be able to leverage all solutions and resources to exceed customer value expectations and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Candidate must be able to motivate the team to exceed established Sales Management Operating Systems sales activity or a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Must be able to create and execute a plan to build world class, value add partners across the region. Maintain CXO, principle relationships in assigned partner accounts.
Will need to work closely with the other GEP teams, leveraging the international split guidelines, to maximize McAfee revenue.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned quota/MBO performance.
Very deep understanding of the local differences and thorough travel experience thru the entire region.
Required travel: Candidate must be able to travel 50 % time throughout Latin America where McAfee business is prevalent.

Preferred Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:



BA or BS preferred or equivalent experience in Sales (preferably channels), marketing, product or business development.
Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese a plus.
Ten plus years experience managing channels in Latin America.
At least 10 years people management experience.
Able to travel 50% of time through Latin America.

Additional Qualifications:


Must have consistent track record of leadership and accomplishment.
Detailed understanding of all aspects of security and solutions sales, as well as a proficient knowledge of channel sales methodology.
Lead a team of up to 5 direct reports throughout geographic area. Manage team to specific sales metrics.
Must be able to direct and motivate remote sales account managers and work within Matrix organization.
Expert knowledge and application of both principles and method for showing, promoting and selling products and services.
Exhibit sound oral expression and comprehension, persuasion, negotiation, listening, inductive and deductive reasoning skills.
Excellent Verbal and written communications.
Very deep understanding of the local differences and thorough travel experience thru the entire region.

Preferred Qualifications:


Intermediate to Advanced fluency in Portuguese a plus.
