Director Channel GTM PTC Boston
Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated team player to join the PLM Segment Go-To-Market (GTM) team to design, launch and support a plan to accelerate and scale the growth of our PLM business with our channel partners. The Channel GTM Director will be responsible for driving business development, sales and marketing initiatives with our channel team to drive revenue growth. This role will report to the Vice President Market Development & GTM, PLM Segment.
This is a key and strategic role that requires a balance of strategy with a strong roll-up your sleeves and ‘get it done’ mentality. Success requires the design and execution of a channel segment plan to develop and accelerates the growth with partners with one goal in mind: pipeline and revenue growth. Key to the position is effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including segment, sales leadership, channel leadership, marketing, product management, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive creative, smart demand generation activities with our channel sales team to drive growth by playing to our partners’ strengths.
Track and analyze the campaign effectiveness to determine ROI and prioritize resources.
Ensure that all demand generation campaigns tie in with the overall PLM sales strategy.
Excellent understanding of growing and sustaining businesses in a highly competitive and changing marketplace
Ability to liaise with and motivate individuals at all levels of the partner relationships
Good understanding of business, and able to ascertain key decision makers
Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
Proven ability at effectively making formal and informal presentations to all levels of management
Qualification/Experience:
A successful candidate will be a strong people person with a passion for mastering sales and marketing campaigns, packaging solutions, developing stories, , and content, with a focus on driving revenue with partners.
Sound business acumen skills; thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Strategic thinker with who is able to blend PLM business strategy and tactics to develop compelling plans for new partner initiatives.
Good knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) technology and applications products/solutions, platform and SaaS/Cloud offerings
Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Demonstrated ability to drive significant revenue through Channel partnerships.
Willing and able to travel.
Desired Skills/Experience
Broad-based business and technology expertise with 6+ years of channel, sales or business development experience with a track record of driving and delivering results
Experience of working with channel organizations in multiple cities/verticals.
Experience working with multiple Sales teams driving and building the partner ecosystem.
Highly motivated and independent contributor.
Business, or Engineering Bachelor's degree (MBA degree is a plus)
