Director Capture Aerospace Crystal Spring

Job Description
A Bachelor of Science degree in science or engineering or the equivalent is required. An advanced degree in an engineering discipline or in business administration is preferred.
A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required including technical and/or scientific, supervisory and business development.
Familiarity with FFRDCs and developing and capturing commercial or federally funded science, technology and engineering systems opportunities.
Knowledge of, and experience with, Aerospace Principal Functions and Core Technical Competencies, organizational structure and FFRDC regulatory environment.
Demonstrated experience with international and commercial business development, proposal writing, organizational, task and staff management is essential.

Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional, cross-organizational, and geographically dispersed teams, focusing on commercial companies and federal civil business opportunities.
Demonstrated experience in being able to define a strategy, develop and communicate business capture plans, execute plans and/or direct individuals in other organizations to support the execution of elements of those plans.
Proven ability to build effective relationships among technical and business support organizations and individuals to solve new and challenging problems is essential.
Experience interacting with senior customer leadership.
Prior capture background especially with space systems, NASA, NOAA, and other federal government agencies such as DOT, DHS, DOE.
Selected candidate must be innovative and team oriented, able to adapt to a changing, fast paced environment, possess mature judgment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain clearance
Ability to travel
