Responsibilities

We currently seek a Finance Director to join the Retirement Income Solutions (RIS) team. This role will report to the VP Actuary, RIS Pricing Oversight/Experience Studies and will be based in Woodland Hills, CA. Responsibilities will include:



• Develop and execute plan to enhance VA and IA GAAP ROE and MCEV
• Identify and coordinate capital management efforts for the business unit which may include the use of internal or external reinsurance and/or capital markets solutions.
• Represent the business unit in analyzing and coordinating ALM opportunities within the business unit
• Conduct market research, review financials and business profile of life insurance companies within target market to understand capital needs • BS Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting or other quantitative field.
• ASA, FSA or Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years applicable experience
• In depth knowledge of GAAP, Stat, Tax and Economic based accounting
• Variable annuity and Index Annuity experience
• Reinsurance and/or capital markets experience
• Transaction based experience
• Knowledge of ALM best practices
• Experience with insurance company capital management strategies
