Director - Engineering- Ads Monetization - Spotify - New York
Job description
We are looking for someone to lead our New York based technology organization (we call them tribes) focused on free monetization, ads, and promotion. Our engineering teams work closely with business, product, and design teams to deliver standout promotional experiences for our users and customers alike.
What you’ll do
You will be responsible for leading a 40 person tribe, which has technical responsibilities across most areas of Spotify
You will scale the people, culture, technology, and business for our advertising & promotional platform
You will focus on strategizing how to improve our existing offering, expand the digital audio market, and craft innovative promotional experiences for brands and artists alike.
You will work across all platforms – mobile, desktop, web, and more, scalable backend services, with a deep focus on data and optimization.
