Director - Content and Programming - NVIDIA - Santa Clara
Job description
The Director, Content and Programming will help us define the vision, build a team, and coordinate the content and operations to ensure NGN is a highly compelling platform to engage our audience of gamers across the globe. NGN will need to support a broad array of content types and subject matters, ranging from daily points of interest, week long coverage of eSports events, in-depth analysis of product and gaming technologies, to long-form original content - all meant to significantly broaden the understanding and reach of gaming culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the overall leadership, management and execution of NGN
- Will ensure successful content production, programming and syndication across NV channels.
- Will grow NGN into a respected and valuable platform with significant reach to our community
- Lead creative and production teams to define the stories and produce content with internal and external creative teams
- Ensure a blend of content that includes athletes and events, NGN Original Productions, independent filmmaker partnerships, user generated content, Team NVIDIA content, partner/publisher content, co-productions with professional studios/production companies.
- Deep collaboration with department leadership to align teams work flow, structure and operational discipline
- Interface with executives, BU, Marketing, Social Media, Creative and PR to drive the most engagement and viewership of NGN channel
- Be the business owner of NGN including PnL management, budgets, timelines, KPI's and ultimately be held accountable for team's performance and channel's performance
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong knowledge of marketing mediums including Digital (display, video, mobile, programmatic), Paid/Organic Social, and Broadcast.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years in digital marketing with at least 5 years' experience in managing a content channel.
- Expert level knowledge of the digital marketing, consumer marketing and content production
- A passion for gaming and entertainment with a strong understanding of gamer culture
