Samsung’s Foundry Business offers advanced process technologies and manufacturing to fabless semiconductor companies. Thanks to highly differentiating process technologies including the latest FinFET technologies, and competitive manufacturing, Samsung’s foundry business is experiencing growth. We are currently looking for a highly passionate and energetic individual for a Director of Foundry Sales role in our San Jose office.
This person will manage and grow foundry sales of existing accounts, develop new direct accounts, and establish sales channels through ASIC and design service partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain existing revenue and customer base
Develop, manage and execute sales processes (including sales lead generation, new design wins, production management, forecasting, and account planning)
Build positive customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers
Develop engineering relationships and build trust through consistent demonstration of sales support and management of factory resources
Manage the Foundry Sales Team in North America
Lead sales campaigns – identifying opportunities, structuring, negotiating and closing deals
Drive customer satisfaction by working with internally with Samsung headquarters and the customer
Identify and pursue new Foundry business opportunities

Desired Skills and Experience
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
10+ years of recent experience in Semiconductor process technologies and manufacturing supply chains
Minimum of 5 years of Foundry Sales experience in both direct accounts and channels
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Experience managing sales teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in advanced logic process nodes/technologies
