Join an elite team of bright, dedicated, innovative and results oriented individuals whose overall focus is to drive a strategic realignment of Cisco’s service provider software business, encompassing billions in software revenue across Networking / Infrastructure, Security, Collaboration, and Analytics / Platforms.
Role & Responsibilities
Drive the sales acceleration and strategic realignment of Cisco’s Service Provider Software Business. Directly engage with service provider customers and sales teams on the value proposition of Cisco’s software capabilities and leverage this knowledge to advance opportunities further
● Build and execute a business plan for the acceleration of Cisco’s SP software business
● Drive awareness and adoption of global sales plays within the Service Provider segment
● Work with SP channel team to increase partner coverage and competence for software
● Provide the voice of the field and the voice of the customer back into Software Operating Office
● Present product and roadmap updates at various venues including industry trade shows, sales meetings, advisory boards, and customer executive briefings
Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable. MBA preferred
● 8-10 years of leadership experience in high-tech environments, preferably software or networking systems
● Willingness to travel up to 20%
● Develop subject matter expertise on Cisco’s software strategy and offerings
● Software Business programs or product management strongly preferred
● Strong project management skills
