Director - Retail Marketing - Oakley - Foothill Ranch


Job description
The Essential Functions
Drive the Oakley brand across Oakley retail and Luxottica Retail to ensure consistent brand execution.
Responsible for planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies and communications, marketing promotions, special events and public relation activities for Retail stores.
Develop traffic driving programs in line with the brand guidelines to drive awareness, interest and sales. Create and oversee the development and implementation of support materials, collateral and services needed.

Partner with GMM, Merchandising, Planning and Allocation and Visual Merchandising to understand strategic imperatives in order to develop appropriate and supportive in-store marketing plans.
Direct Retail approach and vision when acting as a liaison with various departments such as Global marketing, Web, Merchandising, Visual and Retail Field to enable communication.
Collaboratively partner with Visual Merchandising and Retail Training to promote and support key product stories
Work closely with the Brand Communications and Go-To-Market teams to extend the global campaigns across all possible retail avenues.
Develop and drive overall retail marketing calendar and works closely with Go-To-Market to align with other channels.
Implement organizational processes to enable effective cross functional teams to support marketing initiatives with innovative ideas. Develop and drive a dashboard to monitor performance and execution in key areas and stores.
Oversee planning and management of department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with goals and objectives.
Assess and support new growth opportunities and provide support from strategic concept development, valuation and presentation.
Consult cross-functional teams to generate viable solutions that meet defined objectives.
Manage budgets and schedules for all marketing campaigns, analyze results and report findings including return on investment information.
Manage execution and measure results of each campaign (individually, seasonally, quarterly and annually) and report feedback to team and partners.
Communicate and educate all team members and partners on changes in policy and practices related to Marketing within the organization.

THE QUALIFIERS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field
Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills
7-10 years of in-store marketing experience
Excellent project management, time management, organizational, and communication skills
