Director - Product Market - High Potential Concepts - McDonald's Corporation - Oak Brook


Position Purpose:

The US Digital Product Marketer – High Potential will drive the planning and deployment execution of new and innovative digital products in the US. This individual will oversee customer research and product definition, feature identification, and Digital Commerce team development for the US market.

Responsibilities

As a leader in the US digital product team, this person will work closely with the wider US Digital Experience Team and the US Operations teams to drive business impact through the creation of an integrated and compelling customer experiences across digital platforms.


Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities:

• Partner with corporate team to develop strategic growth plans to digital & mobile offerings.

•Ideation rapid design/prototyping and Product development
•Trend identification, customer needs assessment and business case justification
•Go to market strategy, Internal (and external) idea generation around numerous platforms.
•Partners across product and capabilities team and in concert with, technology team, client teams, financial and analytical teams in order to potentially drive customer opportunities, partnerships, capabilities, products, shared offerings or
•Manages team process for executing research that discovers consumers articulated and unarticulated needs, motivations, pain points, reactions to new product concepts and willingness to adopt prospective features that align with our business model.

Minimum/Preferred Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree with a technical discipline required, advanced business degree preferred
•7+ years of internet business experience required, business management experience preferred
•7+ years of experience building and leading digital product teams with an emphasis on scaling them to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business required
•7+ years of experience translating customer needs into digital product features, pricing models, and merchandising opportunities to deliver an unparalleled customer experience
•Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
•Experience and expertise in project and product planning, including product definition, feature prioritization, trade-off processes, and roadmap creation
•Strong analytic and quantitative analysis skills
•Tendency to act as a self-starter with strong bias for action
•Customer-centric mindset with a passion for discovering consumer behavior, trends, and opportunities for innovation
•Ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment while managing competing priorities (start-up experience preferred)
•Proven ability to build and develop high performing teams (required)
