Director - IT - Salesforce - L'Oreal - Berkeley Heights


Job Summary: This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Salesforce.com Platform for L’Oreal USA. This includes coordination of project, enhancement, support and Administrative activities related to solutions developed on the Salesforce.com Platform. Administration includes oversight of the governance and release management process aligned with company best practices. In addition, this role requires the ability to lead both business and IT stakeholders in strategic topics related to business process as well as solution architecture. Lastly, the role involves being a Project Manager and/or Tech Lead for activities, including associated vendor, human resource (internal and external) management and financial management.


Responsibilities Include


Strategic Direction – IT Lead for strategy as it relates to how Salesforce.com can be used to meet business goals for organization
Relationship Management - Business facing staff member responsible for understanding demand management, problem resolution and solution development
Lead requirements discussions and provide resource and effort estimates required for project planning and financial budgeting purposes
Ownership of governance and release management process to ensure alignment of functionality, performance, stability and availability of solutions to business customers
Managing third party vendors responsible for technical development; ensuring all development is in done in accordance to internal standards and maintaining timelines
Leading process or project teams of cross-functional business and IT representatives to design, develop and implement successful changes in quality, timeliness and/or productivity
Guiding business applications efforts to ensure that process and project management tools and methods are utilized consistently and follow the organization's business systems plans
SalesForce.com administration and support
Meeting or exceeding customer requirements with respect to time, cost efficiency & business value
Anticipating and resolving issues/barriers that impede progress

Required Qualifications
10+ years of IT Relationship management experience, preferably with sales and marketing
Proven track record of excellent project management deliverables
Experience implementing solutions and management of Salesforce.com
Sales Cloud, Platform (Custom Objects, Workflow, Approval), Custom Code (Apex, Visual Force), Reporting and Dashboards
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience managing budgets and resources

Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing solutions and management of Salesforce.com
Service Cloud, Communities, Exact Target and Salesforce.com App Exchange solution offerings
PMP certification
Familiarity with Mobile Technology and Platforms for business
Familiarity with the Microsoft environment:
ETL toolset experience a plus including but not limited to Informatica and Web Service development

Education:
Bachelor's degree required

Management Skills:

Experience Guideline:
At least 10 years' related work experience, with demonstrated expertise in targeted technical area. Responsibility for project or process management desired.
