Director - Lean Master Coach Global Controlling - Nike - Portland
Job description
As the Lean Master Coach within Global Controlling, you will be a key leader of our Global Controlling transformation focused on developing the LEAN/continuous improvement vision and strategy for the Controlling function aligned with our long-term operating model. Key responsibilities include:
• Introduce and embed lean principles, methodologies, and tools that drive a sustainable continuous improvement culture in the organization
• Partner with the NIKE Global Lean Enterprise team to ensure alignment with overall Lean 2.0 philosophy and practices, and as a member of the larger LEAN community at NIKE
• Work with Controlling senior management to define process improvement plans/roadmaps and KPI framework to meet strategic priorities, inclusive of value stream engineering over the course of FY’s 15-17
• Serve as a leader for our Controlling value stream process excellence team—ensuring consistency in process mapping, improvement plans, and LEAN techniques
• Build a long-range plan to build LEAN/continuous improvement capability across the Controlling function

Qualifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, with an emphasis in accounting or finance
• CPA/MBA is a plus
• Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (current) strongly preferred
• 9 years of full-time lean/continuous improvement experience with demonstrated expertise in planning and leading successful lean transformations within complex business units.
• Demonstrated expertise in LEAN Enterprise principles; hands on experience creating and implementing LEAN/Process improvement strategies in a finance environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use financial measurements and key performance indicators to manage business processes and results.
• Experience mentoring and training business leaders, lean coaches, and teams on advanced lean concepts
