The Growth Operations team is looking for exceptional talent to lead Growth & Special Operations initiatives at PayPal. In this role, you will be tasked with some of the most visible and important initiatives at the company.
Responsibilities:
Identify, prioritize, and lead new initiatives for the Growth & Special Operations team.
Serve as an internal catalyst, mobilizing cross-functional teams to test and iterate new ideas, establishing viable ways to drive sustainable growth of the PayPal network.
Leverage PayPal's global payment capabilities to develop new PayPal experiences as well as new business models to drive virality and engagement.
Connect Growth & Special Operations initiatives to the broader eBay, Inc. ecosystem, bringing together assets and capabilities from across the company to facilitate long-term sustainable network growth.
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidates should have 10 years post-MBA experience with at least 5-7 years experience working in a corporate or start-up environment that involved leading cross-functional teams, presenting to senior leadership, and engaging external parties.
Ideal candidates will have direct experience working with Product and Technology teams on new business opportunities, product experiences, and design innovation concepts.
Ideal candidates will also bring a Global perspective to the role with a strong understanding of the e-commerce market and payments landscape including a baseline familiarity with consumer internet experimentation methodologies.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a position with rigorous business, strategy, and/or financial training (relevant experience includes strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital, corporate or strategic business development).
MBA preferred.
