Director - Contract Delivery - BT Global Services - Houston


Job description
Key Purpose of the Role:
This role is accountable for the planning and management of all aspects of delivery including financial performance and service delivery on large, global, strategically important, and complex programmes, outsourced/IT contracts, or a group of contracts

Principal Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
• Contract P&L: Establish significant management controls for setting both financial and functional targets and the associated control of budgets. Responsible for the overall profit of contract and revenue growth.
• Programme and Contract Delivery: Deliver programme and contract commitments within cost targets. Accountable for contractual service levels
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain and develop customer satisfaction.

• Senior Stakeholder Management: Actively manage all senior level relationships with clients and senior executives at Board and CEO level
• Strategy for expansion: Seek innovative ways to expand the business scope of new and existing contracts and coordinate strategy and effort with Client Partner and Client Sales Executive.
• Cost Control: To actively drive lowest cost base solutions into contract, including global sourcing where appropriate
• Team Organisation Management: To create and manage the appropriate Contract Delivery Organisation, including direct management of client management resources and matrix management of flexible resources aligned to deliver for customer
• Reporting & Review: Creating and reporting metrics on contract/programme performance. Conduct and deliver quarterly and annual contract reviews.
• Risk Management: Accountable for the active management and reporting of risks
• Regulatory and Compliance: Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met.
• Knowledge Sharing: Ensure re-use and best practice across contracts and to leverage similar services from broader Client Engagement community
Principal Working Relationships: (internal customers and suppliers)
This project is a global, multi-region, multi product, multi domain environment. Interaction of this role will involve various global service centres for contract and service delivery, supplier management, and business operations In summary this is a highly complex environment that will require insight, dedication and above all leadership and drive to complete the program. The program is split into Transformation and BAU.

Qualifications:
Essential • Relevant work experience in similar size and complex program or project
Desirable Degree or Certification • Undergraduate Degree or above
Language Requirements: Written and Spoken English
Travel Requirements: Occasional
