The Actuary & Director will demonstrate the highest level of technical actuarial specialization and expertise. Participates in the design/development of portfolio management strategy and implements the actuarial components of the emerged strategy. Coordinates detailed profitability analyses by national/local area and line of business. Provides necessary pricing, reserving, reinsurance analysis, and product analysis for designated types of business. Supervises and oversees the work of less experienced actuaries.


Desired Skills and Experience
Our Required Qualifications Include:
* Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with a mathematical, statistical or numerate background.
* 8 or more years of Actuarial experience.
* Successful completion of ACAS designation.
* Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills reflective of an expert practitioner who has progressed within actuarial positions of increasing responsibility typically seen in 8 or more years of related experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong presentation skills.

Our Preferred Qualifications Include:
* Successful completion of FCAS designation.
* Experience in multiple functional areas (pricing, reserving, capital management, etc.) and in multiple business units.
