Do you have an extensive background in the managed healthcare industry? Do you have demonstrated experience working with doctors and eye care professionals? Are you skilled at building and sustaining relationships with doctors, and translating their needs into actions? We’re looking for a Director of Provider Business Strategies in our Vision Care line of business to set the pace for the initiatives and strategies we rollout to our doctors. In this role, you’ll be in charge of developing and implementing strategies for our doctors, and for keeping up-to-date with current healthcare and provider trends. The Director of Provider Business Strategies at VSP Vision Care will:
set direction and lead the implementation of provider business strategies for VSP Vision Care
Identify initiatives, products and services to expand and fully leverage health and wellness programs
Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product Development on developing products and programs that focus on clinical programs/services, wellness initiatives and provider analytics
Lead the provider reimbursement strategy function
Provide leadership to staff through direction, example and coaching


Desired Skills and Experience
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or equivalent work experience
Fifteen years’ experience in healthcare with a broad knowledge of healthcare systems, including disease management, quality management, accreditation agencies/standards and government programs as well as provider reimbursement
Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in publishable study design, execution and measurement
Ten years’ management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Senior leadership experience evaluating, driving and executing strategic initiatives
