Director - Project Management - Epicor Software - St. Louis
Job description
Role Summary/Purpose:
The Director of Project Management oversees the entire Project Management Office across the North America will dotted line responsibility of Project Managers in our LAC region.
Essential Responsibilities:
• P&L responsibility - analyzing annual, quarterly and monthly revenue targets & cost-center budgets
• Resource Management – planning and hiring to meet BU AOP expectations, plan training and execute Program Manager and PM development
• Customer Relationship Management – provide support to Regions on escalations, run the customer concern calls, acts as high-level client escalation contact for project management issues
• Service Sales – provide support to the Professional Service Sales organization on pre-sales opportunities around service delivery.
• Reporting - Monitors and communicates internal expectations on key business metrics such as utilization, revenue generation, responsiveness and communication to clients, client satisfaction (Net Promoter Score), and employee education
• Leadership Team - Works within Epicor to ensure that all project management operational functions are aligned with company Strategy, goals, and objectives, prioritizes projects by value-add, ROI potential, alignment to corporate goals, and impact on resources, ensures tight management, client communications, and expectation setting for client projects
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Applications or equivalent work experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred
• 10+ years consulting services delivery management experience with at least 5+ years of ERP software services experience
• 3+ years of experience managing $25M annual P&L with 50-100 direct reports
• 10+ years Project Management experience with enterprise software
• MS Project skills, Experience with all MS Office applications
• Excellent Presentation skills: Ability to present to CXX level stakeholders in sales meetings, face to face, or remotely
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, field consultants, executives, and co-workers
• Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks within assigned timeframes
• Analyze customer problems and make recommendations for improvement
• ~60% percent travel could be required
