1.0 SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE

The Area Director of Operations will manage multiple regions assuring operations are maintained in the most efficient and cost effective manner with the highest safety standards. They will also play a key role in maintaining optimal staffing levels for all Region operations. The Area Director of Operations will have full operational and fiscal responsibility for their regions.


2.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures standards for operations, equipment, and employee performance are maintained and that cost-effective methods are used to maximize performance.
• Ensures fixed assets are preserved.
• Initiates recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to facilities and/or units.
• Provide weekly highpoints with operational update Senior Management.
• Manages supervisors and their direct reports to ensure the operations runs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs.
• Alerts management of cost and labor overruns, makes recommendations, develops and implements solutions to problems
• Hire, train, develop, and assesses staff effectively.
• Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.
• Consults with Human Resources as appropriate.
• Ensures operations are run to specifications and standards are met.
• Escalates issues to VP of Operations including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, conflicts and the like.
• Ensures employees are adhering to company policy and administering practices in fair and equitable manner.
• Manages budget and controls expenses, effectively.
• Keeps up-to-date on information and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
• Comply with general policies and procedures of Bosque Systems, LLC and keeps safety & environment as one of the most important aspects of daily operation.
• Accountable in assuring that all technologies and equipment are fully operational and meeting the needs of our customers.

3.0 PREFERRED COMPETENCIES – Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar field and 5-7 years of multi-site supervisory in the oil and gas industry OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of oilfield water handling and treatment.
• Experience managing multiple fleets/units in broad regional area.
• Intermediate computer experience in MS Excel & Outlook.
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to maintain high professional standards.
• The Area Director of Operations should plan on living within a Region near Houston, San Angelo, Fort Worth, Midland or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Spending considerable time in the operations field with employees and customers.

4.0 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Remote in the region driving with periodic in the office.
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and must be worn when on jobsite location.
